One Day in Two Medicine
We drove over to Two Medicine with one of my life long friends Mario, who was in town for wrestling camp for his youngest son. We stopped by Running Eagle Falls on the way into the area, what a cool double waterfall! There is a smaller upper waterfall that only flows in spring run off and then the main lower falls. We were lucky to get to see them both as the upper fall was pretty small by the end of June.
Next we parked at Two Medicine and hiked the southern trail toward Aster Park. This trail follows the southern edge of Lake Two Medicine and then turns up Aster Creek past the Aster Falls before climing to an overlook of the Two Medicine valley on the way to Aster Park.
Lastly, we hiked the Scenic Point trail to the Apistoki Falls. The falls are a let down only because they really aren’t visible from the trail.

No Apistoki, Phone Booth
We were unsuccessful in getting a good view of the Apistoki Falls. However, we did find the ever elusive phone booth. Please note, if you have an emergency in the Two Medicine, this phone booth is not going to come to your rescue.
